This sweet young lady is Lexi, who is around a year old. She came into foster about 3 months ago, and was very underweight and nervous. Lexi is now at a correct weight for her size (she is quite small at 17 kg). The nervousness is still there occasionally, and may be mistaken as aggression by those who don’t know her.
Lexi is good with other dogs and has not shown any animosity to cats, children or other people. It may take Lexi a few minutes to feel comfortable with you – a typical Shar Pei trait – but it is well worth the wait.
Because of Lexi’s history she prefers to have the run of the house when left; she can be destructive if too enclosed. She can also jump child gates if she feels threatened.
If you can help this lovely girl with her Shar Pei attitude and Olympic high jump potential, please get in touch.
