MONDAY – Mum and Dad were still on holiday today after their trip to Wolverhampton. It was great. We had 2 massive long walks. Poor Xia, she’s getting older now, I thought Dad might have to pick her up and carry her.
TUESDAY – I think Mum must have worn herself out yesterday as well. Instead of her usual 5 o’clock start, she had a lie-in in until 6:45. I decided to let her off because the doctor had told her not to do any exercise for a few days after her cortisone injections. She did do an hour and a half fast walking at lunch time though.
WEDNESDAY – 2040 metre swim. Mum said she felt fine. I was worried her shoulder and her hip might drop off but they didn’t. Thank goodness for that, I like it when Mum comes for a walk with us.
THURSDAY – Another 2040 metre swim. Mum is getting very competitive with the man who usually share the lane with her. She said sometimes she has to swim as hard as she possibly can, but she’s not getting to let him beat her.
FRIDAY – Another 2040 metre swim. Mum, I said, this is getting a bit boring, up your game and try and swim a bit further. You’ve only got 3 weeks after this on your diet. We need a concerted effort.
SATURDAY – I love weekends, 2 lovely long walks in the forestry. Mum said she really enjoys getting her exercise walking us. We all got soaked but we had great fun.
SUNDAY – Amazing day. A huge walk in the forestry in the morning and the a long long run on the golf course at night. Mum was chasing us and we were chasing her so we all burnt loads of calories (whatever one of those is). Mum said she’ll be really disappointed if she hasn’t lost weight this week.
ONLY 3 WEEKS LEFT FOR MUM ON HER DIET. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU WOULD SPONSOR HER BY GOING TO WWW.SPRSS.CO.UK AND THEN GOING TO THE FUNDRAISING PAGE. REMEMBER YOU’LL BE HELPING THE DOGS.
